Lake Espejo
The Lago Espejo or Lac Espejo (in French lake mirror ) is a Andean Lac of glacial tectonic origin located at the south of the province of Neuquén in Argentine. It belongs to the group of lakes of the Route of the Seven Lakes, around the town of Villa Angostura.
Its name of mirror is due to the fact that its quiet and limpid water reflects like a mirror the landscapes located on its banks. It is fed by melt water of the glaciers and snows of the surrounding mountains, thanks to a series of small rivers which confluent towards him.
On its banks sand beaches alternate volcanic, fields of reeds and rock zones forming of abrupt cliffs.
