Lake Dongting
the lake Dongting or lake Dongting-hu or lake Dong is a lake of the province of Hunan in China. The surface of the lake strongly depends on the seasons (From 4000 to 20000 km ² at the time of raw). The provinces of the Hubei and the Hunan draw their names from the lake. Indeed, Hubei means " north of the lac" and Hunan means " south of the lac". The lake collects water of the river Chang Jiang (Yangtze). The lake is also fed by the Xiang river, the Zi river and the Yuan river. It is by its surface the third Lake China after the lake Poyang and the lake Qinghai, and second fresh water lake of China.
