Lake Castet

The Lake Castet is a Lac of French stopping of the the Pyrenees, in the department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques and the area Aquitaine, with proxility of the village of Castet, in Vallée of Ossau.

Geography

The stopping is built on the Gave d' Ossau and feeds a Hydroelectric station basic fall (4 m), of a power of 1800 kw, property of the hydroelectric Société of the South (SHEM).

Characteristics

The lake is populated of trouts fario, of minnow S, Anguille S and Gardon s.
A space museographic is devoted to him by the commune of Laruns.
