Lake Bodom
The lake Bodom , in Finnish Bodominjärvi , in Swedish Bodom träsk , is a Finnish lake located in the area of Uusimaa of the province of Finland-Southerner, close to the towns of Espoo and Helsinki.
Geography
This lake roughly measures three Kilomètre S length on one of width.
History
This lake is known to have been the theater of several murders in the night of the June 4th 1960. Four teenagers (two boy, the Nile Gustafsson and Seppo Boisman, and two girls, Tuulikki Mäki and Irmeli Björklund) had come to camp close to the lake. During the night, they were mysteriously attacked whereas they slept. Three of them, S. Boisman, T. Mäki and I. Blörklund, were massacred. Only one of them survived.
In June 2005, the survivor, the Nile Gustafsson, was accused of the murder of his/her friends. The October 7th 2005, it was discharged load of murder. Forty years after, the business thus remains, for the time being, unsolved.
