Route of access
- Since Tarbes, to pass Bagnères de Bigorre, Campan and Sainte-Marie de Campan. To take the direction of the Collar of Aspin, to pass Seoube and to arrive at Payolle.

the path slightly below starts Hourquette, direction south-western. It is well marked and visible, and court with mountainside, practically with the horizontal one. Many sources mark out the route.

After one hour and half of quiet walk, a small coast leads to a first small lake with the altitude of 1745 Mr. Franchir the brook on the bridge, then to climb left bank a last a little hard rise; in half an hour approximately, one arrives at the Lake Arou.

If it is arrived early the morning, one can see some Marmotte S and, if one is quiet, of the Vautour S deer posed on the ground. Sometimes, the horses in freedom in the bottom of the solid mass of Arbizon come to drink with the lake with the foalta of the year (attention to the sometimes impulsive standards, because they are animals semi-savages).
