Lago Viedma

The Lac Viedma is a lake of Patagonie Argentinian, located in province of Santa Cruz, and included partially in the National park of the glaciers, just like its " jumeau" the Lake Argentino.
Description
Directed as this last of west in is, it is fed by abundant precipitations of the Andes cordillera, within which it is. Its basin of drainage is located entirely in Argentinian territory. Its natural emissary, the río Leona leads his water towards the Lac Argentino of which it is thus tributary.
Geography
Its surface oscillates from 1.088 to 1.600 km ². In the entourage of Lago Viedma there are several mounts of more than 3.000 meters. It is dominated in the North-West by the imposing peak Cerro Fitz Roy (3.406 m). Very close are the Cerro Torre (3.128 m) and the Poincenot (3.076 m).
Among the glaciers which feed it, most remarkable is the glacier Viedma , of a surface of step less than 575 km ² and which is in the west. To note the fact that under the ice the volcano Viedma is whose last eruption goes back to 1988. The water of the glacier colors the lake of superb dyes blue-turquoise.
