A lager is thus indicated share its color.
It is often made a confusion between the term lager which indicates the color of beer rather and the standard beer strictly speaking which are used when for them to rather differentiate the process from manufacture, Brassage, the type of Fermentation, etc
Thus a lager can just as easily be:
- a Lager of the type Pils;
- a Ale of the type Trappist or a Beer of abbey;
- a Lambic of the type faro;
- etc
