Lafauche
Lafauche is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Marne and the area Champagne-Ardenne.

History
Lafauche was the chief town of important a Baronnie until the Révolution, it belonged to the deanery of Reynel, diocese of Toul and depended on the election and the Bailliage of Chaumont, Prévôté of Andelot. An important built castle extremely there. Old the Baronnie included/understood the parishes of Prez, Vesaignes, Liffol-le-Petit with more recent addition of the seigniories of Semilly, Chalvraines, Alainville, Avrainville, Orquevaux. This baronnie at the XVIIIème century was had by the marshal of Broglie. The castle concerned Joinville. The Révolution made him lose its feudal importance.
