Ladislas Mandel
Ladislas Mandel (May 26th 1921 Oradea (Romania) - October 21st 2006 Paradou) was a draftsman of characters French of Hungarian origin .
Arrived to France in 1936, it makes studies with the École of the Art schools of Rouen and with the Ranson Academy. Creator of typographical natures, it collaborated with Adrian Frutiger, then became in 1955 foreman at Deberny and Peignot. He in particular drew the characters Clottes and Galfra of the French phone books in 1985.
