Ladies View

Ladies View is a panoramic point of view on the Lakes Killarney. It is located in the National park of Killarney, on the edge of N71, constitutive of the Anneau of Kerry, to 13 km of Killarney. The sight relates to Upper Lake and the valley.

Origin

The name goes up at the time of the visit of the Reine Victoria with Muckross House in 1861. On the way which leads it to the property, the queen if is charmed by the sight that she asks that one stop the attachment and authorizes, completely exceptional fact at the time, her lady's companions, them “ladies-in-waiting”, to go down to admire with her the spectacle which the panorama offers.
