Lactoridaceae
The Lactoridacées are a family of plants Dicotylédone S primitives which includes/understands one kind, Lactoris , and which only one species, Lactoris fernandeziana , endemic of the Juan Fernandez islands to the Chile.
They are shrubs with small persistent sheets, essential oil producers.
The phylogenetic classification locates them in the order of the Piperales.
