Lactalis , property of the family Besnier , treats each day nearly 22 million liters of milk by making the second French agroalimentary group behind the group Danone.

History

1933, October 19th: André Besnier starts the activity with 52 rue d'Avesnières with Laval, this same year the mark the small resident of Laval is deposited.

1 employee, 35 liters of milk collected and 17 Camembert cheeses manufactured the first day.

the personal company André Besnier becomes a limited liability company and takes the name of Dairy Société of Laval A. Besnier and Co .

1955, 27 years, Michel Besnier succeeds André Besnier brutally deceased on June 21st, 1955 at the 61 years age. It takes again a company of 50 paid.
