Lachassagne

Lachassagne is a common French, located in the department of the the Rhone and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Geography

Lachassagne is a wine village of the Beaujolais wine dominating the valley of the Saone. It is made of three principal hamlets: St-Pierre (around the church and of the Castle), St-Cyprien and Bourlatière, and of some other hamlets (Pagneux, Verchères…). The territory recovers also part of the Wood of Alix, beyond the small valley of the brook the " Galoche" The vine leaves place to the allotments more and more, because of the proximity of Lyon (25 km)
