Laboratories Pierre Fabre

The Laboratoires Pierre Fabre are a pharmaceutical group French which was created in 1961 by Pierre Fabre, a pharmacist castrated.

Particularly present in the fields of health and the beauty, the group built its know-how on its experiment of the pharmaceutical dispensary.

Its productions cover:

- products of dermocosmetic (under the marks Ducray, Galénic, Rene Furterer, Klorane, Target and especially Avène)

- health products health: toothpastes, substitutes of tobacco etc

- prescription drugs in fields as varied as psychiatry, urology, the cardiology and the oncology, this last being the headlight field of the research and development Pierre Fabre with in particular an oral chemotherapy (Navelbine).

It employs 8.650 collaborators divided out of 56 sites abroad and 80 establishments in France.

The Laboratoires Pierre Fabre are signatories of the Pacte SME.

Pierre FABRE was born on April 16th, 1926. He is classified 43e professional fortune of France, by the economic weekly magazine " CHALLENGE". Since the beginning of the years 2000, it repurchased a photo agency (SIPA NEAR), an editor (ED. ROCK) and newspapers (Current values, SPECTACLE OF the WORLD).
