Labastide-with-Virac is a common French, located in the department of the Ardèche and the area the Rhone-Alps. It belongs to the old historical area of the Vivarais.

the Gorges of Ardeche
the Château of Roure is a castle of the 14th century, classified Historic building. It was a high place of the wars of religion of the area of the Vivarais until the revolt of the Camisard S. It compend old a Magnanerie and offers a very beautiful panoramic sight on the the Cevennes. See the site of the castle.
