Labéroû

not to confuse with : the Labéroû , affluent of the Hourque de Lauga with Lescun.

The Labéroû is small a Affluent right of the Gave d' Oloron between the Escou and the Auronce.

It is born with Soulaneix (Escout), crosses the wood of Précilhon, Goès and Oloron-Holy-Marie then joined the gave of Oloron after having crossed Estos and Ledeuix.

The medieval forms of the name, Avero (1433) and Aberon (1538) seem to indicate that the L is not etymological (agglutination of the article). These C-Ws communication presuppose a root ab- rather than lau .
