Frederic Reiss is French Politician, born the November 12th 1949 with Haguenau (the Low-Rhine).

In the past mathematics professor, Frederic Reiss devotes himself today fully to his activity of politician.

He is elected appointed substitute the June 16th 2002, for XIIe legislature (2002 - 2007), in the 8 district of the the Low-Rhine. The July 19th 2002, following the nomination of François Loos to the government, it becomes appointed titular. It belongs to the group UMP.

The June 10th 2007, it is re-elected appointed by 66% of the voices as of the first turn, François Loos representing itself in the 9th district (Haguenau) to succeed Bernard Schreiner (UMP) which does not wish any more to be represented and which indicated François Loos like successor. This last was elected.
