University career

Professional path

It was selected with the 1st turn of draft by the San Diego Chargers in 2001, it was the 5th choice of the draft.

Tomlinson disputed 80 matches of NFL since 2001 (to the 15-09-06). It is currently titular Running back of San Diego Chargers.

At the time of the Season NFL 2005, it made a success of 1462 yards with the race and marked 18 Touchdown S in 16 disputed matches. It exceeded the 1200 yards with the race at the time of each season of NFL.

It equalized the record of consecutive matches with at least a marked touchdown: 18.

The season 2006 is marked in what relates to it with several beaten records.
