Laïta

The Laïta is a Fleuve coastal French of Brittany 17 km long. It is a name Breton of origin, Laïta .

It is also called, with his mouth, the river of the Pouldu .

(This name Laïta is also given to a small sailing boat, morbihan. It is inspired by the Norwegian prames which, because of their nautical qualities, were spread in the whole world like boats of ships, then like small pleasure boats at the beginning of the 20th century. Near to a small light center-board by its behavior and its performances, it makes it possible to lower the mast and to sail with the oar when the wind misses. The forms carrying prame, the possibility of taking laugh in the sail, make of it also a sure, ideal boat for young people or children. Its behavior with the sea is healthy with all the paces. Its walk is remarkable out of sheltered water. With near in the clapot, that types, that wets, but that passes nevertheless! The normal crew is of one or two people, even 3 if they are children. The weak weight of Laïta, 75 kg with vacuum approximately, makes it possible to move it to two and to transfer it onto the roof of a car.)
