LPGA Championship

LPGA Championship is the second older tournament of the female professional circuit of golf, only exceeded by the US Open. It is consiéré like this one like one of major female, even if this is officially recognized only by circuit LPGA, and not on the European circuit, which recognizes only the British Open.

To the edition 2005, the test was only opened with professional, the opposite of the other tournaments like British and the US Open one. This opening is partly due to the emergence of Michelle Wie, the goal being to increase the press coverage gràce with this young player already very known and courted by the media.
