LISA beyond Put
LISA della Casa (born the February 2nd 1919 with Berthoud) is a Soprano Suisse.
She studied with Zurich and began in 1941 with Soleure. In 1943, it begins in Zurich, in 1947 with the Festival of Salzburg, in 1951 with the Festival of Glyndebourne, in 1953 with the Metropolitan Opera. Until in the Years 1970, it one of the sopranos was required in the small repertory that it cultivated.
Because of its great physical beauty and radiant serenity of its voice, LISA della Casa became with the eyes of much the Incarnation even of its three roles of predilection: the Countess in the Marriages of Figaro , the Marshal's wife in the Knight with the pink and Arabella . It left incomparable recordings of them, under the rod of Herbert von Karajan, Erich Kleiber or Karl Böhm; in particular with this last, a sublime interpretation of the last four Lieder of Richard Strauss.
Before reaching the row of diva, she played the part of Vreneli in the Film with great success of Paul Hubschmid Fusilier Wipf , turned in 1938.
