LISA Murkowski

LISA Ass Murkowski (born the May 22nd 1957 with Ketchikan in Alaska), is a political woman American of Polish origin , sénatrice republican of the Alaska since 2002.

Biography

Graduate in economy of the Georgetown university in 1980 and right of the University Willamette in 1985, LISA Murkowski is attorney with Anchorage of 1985 with 1998.

In 1998, she is elected with the room of the representatives of Alaska from which she must become the chief of the majority during the session 2003-2004. However in December 2002, it resigns of its mandate following its nomination, by his/her father the new governor Frank Murkowski, with the seat of senator to the federal Congress of which he was the holder.

In November 2004, in spite of the charges of Nepotism, it is re-elected for six years a complete mandate against the former democratic governor Tony Knowles.
