LAMA Gyourmé
LAMA Gyourmé (or LAMA Gyurme in English transcription) (born in 1948) is a Moine Bouddhiste and also Musicien. Installed in France since 1974, it directs the Kagyu-Dzong of Paris and, since 1982, the center of Vajradhara-Ling in Normandy.
Born with the Bhutan in 1948, it is entrusted by its family to the 4 years age to the monastery of Djang Tchoub Tcheu Ling (Bhutan) where its attraction for the sacred music appears quickly. Become resident permanent from the monastery at the nine years age, it receives there the Buddhist lesson, supplemented by a initation with traditional arts, of which music.
At the twenty years age, it carries out its first three years retirement, three months, three days, necessary to its formation of LAMA, with the monastery of Sonada in India of which the person in charge is Kalou Rinpoché. During this retirement which it is named “Oumze” - Band master - by the very worthy Kalou Rinpoché. After a stay with the monastery of Rumtek to the Sikkim, it will perfect its religious education with the Bhutan before obtaining its diploma for the occupation of teacher of the tradition Kagyupa which was given to him by the 16th Karmapa.
