Ląd

Ląd is small a Village of Poland (Voïvodie of Large-Poland) located close to the Warta, to 9 km in the south of Słupca.
At the 11th century, Ląd was the seat of a Castellan. Of 1145 with 1796, the village belonged to the Cisterciens. In 1286, Jan Gerbicz was crowned there bishop of Poznań by Jakub Świnka.
