Léopoldine Cecile Marie-Pierre Catherine Hugo , born with Paris the August 28th 1824 and died with Villequier the September 4th 1843, is the girl of the Romancier, Poète and Dramaturge Victor Hugo.
Its tragic death, in company of her husband Charles Vacquerie, when their boat capsizes on the the Seine with Villequier and that they drown both, on September 4th, 1843, a few months only after their marriage, has a great impact on the work and the personality of Victor Hugo. It will devote to the memory of his daughter of many poems, in particular Demain at dawn and With Villequier in Pauca Meae , the fourth book of the Contemplations .
