Léopold Kielholz

Léopold Kielholz known as Poldi is a Football or Suisse born the June 9th 1911 and deceased the June 4th 1980.

Biography

International Switzerland, it took part in two World cups: in 1934, it marks 3 times of which the first Swiss goal of the history of this competition.

Twice champion of Switzerland with the Servette of Geneva, it leaves then to FC Bern as trainer-player. Its passage to the Stade of Rheims in 1936 is a failure and lasts only three months . Kielholz turns over to Servette of Geneva, then with FC Saint-Gall. It finishes its career with the Young Fellows Zurich in 1943.
