Léonard de Hodémont

Léonard (Collet) of Hodémont (1575 - 1639), is a type-setter inhabitant of Li2ege of Baroque music probably born with Hodimont close to Verviers.

It made its musical studies at the school of the Cathédrale Saint-Lambert of Liege where he became Choirmaster of 1619 to 1622. He was the author of crowned and profane works, by the means which he diffuses in the area the innovations of the Italian music. Its style influences many its contemporaries of which Henry Of the Mount of Thier, Choirmaster of Louis XIV.
