Kynthos
Mont Kynthos is located on the island of Délos which is part of the Greek Cyclades of the southernmost Aegean Sea.
Mythology
In Greek mythology, following having a connection with Zeus, the sovereign of Olympe, Léto, a woman mortal, was continued by the extreme jealousy of Héra which prohibited to him to put at the world its twins. However with the assistance of Zeus, Léto succeeded in finding shelter on Mont Kynthos where it remained dissimulated of Héra, and gave finally birth of Apollo and Artémis.
Time contemporary
In contemporary time, this hill is a tourist attraction and a major archeological site.
