Kymijoki
The rivère Kymi ( Kymijoki in Finnish, Kymmene älv in Swedish) is a river of the South-east of the Finland. It takes its source with the lake Päijänne at an altitude of 78 meters and then runs towards the the Baltic along an axis overall NS.
Powerful river, it provides energy to the hydroelectric stations and the many factories of paper Pulp of the area of the Vallée of Kymi.
It is divided into several branches before joining the Golfe of Finland.
