Kyle Calder

Kyle Calder , born the January 5th 1979 with Mannville with the Canada, is a professional player of Hockey evolving/moving with the Red Wings de Détroit in National league of hockey.

Chosen in 130e position, that is to say with the 5th turn, of the draft 1997 by the Blackhawks of Chicago after a brilliant career in WHL, it will play in the Illinois during six seasons before being exchanged with the Flyers of Philadelphia at the beginning of the season 2006-2007 against Michal Handzus.

During this same season and to the deadline of the transfers, it will belong to a triangular exchange between Phialdelphie, Chicago and Detroit. Calder goes back to Chicago in exchange of Lasse Kukkonen before signing immediately with the Red Wings de Détroit in exchange of Jason Williams. It marks its first goal for Wings at the time of its first exit with the frankness from the Michigan.
