Kyanzittha

Kyanzittha (Burmese က္ရမ္းစစ္သား; ) was the third king of Pagan after his/her father and his brother, of 1084 with 1113. It was wire of the king Anawrahta and one of its secondary wives. It is especially known for its important religious constructions with Pagan, of which the Temple of Ananda (1091).

During its youth, Kyanzittha took part in the countryside of his/her father against the kingdom My of Thaton to obtain a specimen of the Tipitaka. It was crowned king after the death of his half-brother the king Sawlu.

Known for its taste for the culture mône, it made engrave inscriptions in my, married a princess mône and had good relationships with the kingdom my.

Its grandson Alaungsithu succeeded to him.
