Kyōwa era

The era Kyōwa (in Japanese: ja 享和) is one of the eras of Japan (ja 年号, nengō , literally “the name of the year”) according to the era Kansei and preceding the era Bunka extending from the 1801 to the 1804. The reigning emperor was the emperor Kōkaku - tennō (ja 光格天皇).

The Kyōwa era was proclaimed at the time of the thirteenth year of Kansei (1801).
