Kutir-Nahhunte III
Kutir-Nahhunte III is a king élam ite having reigned of 1160 with 1155 av. J. - C. It succeeds his/her father Shutruk-Nahhunte.
It takes importance as of the last years of the reign of his father, that it second in its campaigns into Low-Mésopotamie. After the catch of Babylon, it is placed on the throne of the city, which it controls in the name of his father. At the time of the death of this one, it must return in Élam, which provides the occasion to a member of the dynasty kassite, Enlil-nadin-ahhe, to take again Babylon. There remain there three years, time for Kutir-Nahhunte to take again the city, and to complete the dynasty kassite definitively. After that, the king élamite only dies at the end of five years of reigns, and his/her brother Shilhak-Inshushinak succeeds to him.
