Kuru (common)
Kuru is a municipality mid-west of the Finland. It is located in the area Pirkanmaa.
Although near to the agglomeration of Tampere (hardly 50 km), Kuru is a particularly wild and depopulated commune. The forest does not occupy less than 77% of the emerged grounds, a percentage comparable with communes of the wild East. The lakes are also omnipresent, to start with large the Näsijärvi. The north and the west of the commune broken and are practically depopulated. One finds the national park there Seitseminen.
Several careers very exploit a Granite gray of good quality.
The common neighbors are Tampere in south-east, Ylöjärvi in the south, Viljakkala in south-west, Ikaalinen in the west, Parkano and Kihniö in the North-West, Virrat in north and Ruovesi in the east.
