Kuranda

Kuranda (650 inhabitants) is an old mining city of Australia located on the Plateau of Atherton of the Great Dividing Range at 25 km of Cairns in the Far North of the Queensland. It became a tourist destination thanks to its picturesque train, its many tourist equipment (shops, restaurants, park with birds, butterflies, bat) and with its environment made up of rain forest with the falls of Barron Falls.

Climate

Located in the Tropics, Kuranda profits from a soft climate with two seasons: wet and dry. located inside the grounds, the city has a moisture lower than the coastal towns.
