Kunitake Kume
Kunitake Kume (邦武久米; 1866 - 1934) was a scientist Japanese and historian during the eras Meiji and Taishō. It had a son Keiichiro Kume who became famous painter.
Born with Bizen (today Saga), it joint with the Mission Iwakura of 1871 to 1878 and published in 1888 a report on this voyage under the name of " A true report/ratio on the voyage of observation through the United States of America and Europe of the ambassador extraordinary and plénipotentiaire" ( Tokumei zenken taishi EIB-O kairan jikki ). He became thereafter professor of old story at the university of Tokyo.
