Kunaï
The kunaï is a Knife used by the ninjas, formerly, and being able to be useful as arms to launch, be used to climb trees, walls, or of tool multi use.
Form
A kunaï normally has a blade in the shape of sheet and a handle with a ring on the pommel to attach a cord. This makes it possible the kunaï to be attached to a stick like a Lance, or to be attached and hidden along the body, or to recover it when it is used as a Ancre or a Piton. The size of the majority of the kunaï goes from 20 centimetres to 60 centimetres, with an average of 40 centimetres. The kunaï is not a Couteau, but something more related with a bar of destruction. Normally only the point is frayed. The requests to which a kunaï is subjected would have destroyed any tool having undergone a heat treatment and frayed like a knife.
Origins
A kunaï is an ancient kind of trowel, invented during the era of Tensho of the Japan. The kunaï was normally manufactured in Fer cheap forged and nonpolished. The blade was not sharpened, because its edges were employed to break the plaster and wood, to dig holes and to raise. The kunaï was employed by the common peoples as a tool of universal Jardinage and by masons stone and Maçon S.Contrary to the popular belief, they were not conceived as a weapon of launching, although they can certainly be thrown and cause damage. The Ninjutsu (art of the Ninja) is very flexible on the way in which it uses weapons and not-arm. A ninja could be a gardener during the day and employ a kunaï without raising suspicion.
Appearances in the cultural life
In Grandmaster de Hatsumi Sensei of the school of Togakure Ryu of the collection of Ninjutsu there are examples of kunaï short, length kunaï, narrow blade, notched type, and broad type with blades. In certain cases, the kunaï and the Shikoro are impossible if not hard to distinguish. This weapon is especially known because it is used by the ninjas in the Manga Naruto.
This weapon also appeared in Castlevania: Portrait off ruin. It is used as secondary weapon with johnattan.
Also appeared in the series of the plays Shinobi (Megadrive) but then called Shuriken, it was possible to launch of them 1 while going or jumping, or 8 in active double-jump in 8 directions of vertical with horizontal while passing by the 4 diagonals.
