The Kuma (球磨, 1919) was a Japanese cruiser light of the imperial Marine. It was the first representative of its class which included also the ships Tama, Kitakami, Oi and Kiso.

It was cast on January 10th, 1944 by the HMS Tally-Ho (P317) in the west of Penang
