Kubira (false general)

Kubira is a character of the Manga Samurai deeper Kyo.

It belongs to the crowned generals of Oda Nobunaga but is actually a lure, just like Haira and Mekira, a combatant intended to test the capacities of the enemy. This detail is of course hidden to him by the Mibu clan.

It fights Kyo with the eyes of demon in the middle of the forest of Aokigahara and is a marionnettist. Its toys take the aspect, the voice of their target as well as part of their techniques and their force. Fine calculator, it readjusts its headstocks at every moment in order to improve them and to benefit from the weak points of its adversary. Having been informed that Kyo cannot fight more than ten minutes of sharpened in the body of Kyoshiro Mibu, it makes last the combat to discover what occurs beyond this limit.

To protect itself, it uses a puppet playing its own part; thus at the time of the death-blow it is not touched and is not made as if it had died in order to let leave Kyo. Shortly after Ajira appears, feeling protected he teaches him whereas he had discovered the secrecy of Kyo and thus knew how he could undoubtedly beat it. But this secrecy never not having to be discovered by other people, Ajira kills it before it had time to reveal it with whoever.
