Kryptopterus bicirrhis
Kryptopterus bicirrhis or silure of glass is a fish of transparent aquarium, very popular because of its orignality. Of asatic origin, it affectionate fresh water and acids. Fortunately very sensitive to water quality and the chemicals, there do not exist coloured varieties (contrary to the Chanda ranga often made pink or green by injection). Often confused with the Kryptopterus minor , K. bicirrhis is much larger and does not have the same geographic origin.
