Kronenbourg
The beer Kronenbourg is the Bière the most consumed in France, 50 “halves” of Kronenbourg are drunk each second approximately. It is produced by the Brasseries Kronenbourg.
History
Launched in 1947, the Kronenbourg mark owes its name with Cronenbourg, the district of Strasbourg in which the brewery at the beginning of the 19th century settled.
The Kronenbourg logo
The Kronenbourg logo, namely the escutcheon, the crown (Kron) and the turrets of a castle (Burg), refer to the castle of a bishop set up formerly in the close locality of Kronthal which gave its name to the Cronenbourg district, and since 1947 with the Kronenbourg mark. The red and white checkerwork recalls as for him the colors of Alsace.
Range
Several beers compose the Kronenbourg range: Kronenbourg, Pure Kronenbourg Malt, Kronenbourg Extra Fine, Kronenbourg Mixed, Red Kronenbourg 7,2. Moreover, thanks to a broad range of conditioning, the Kronenbourg mark claims to meet the various needs for consumption: packs of 40,26,10 and 6, the minifût of 5 liters, the format 75cl, boxes of 33 or 50cl. Kronenbourg is also available to the pressure thanks to Superfresh, a specific technique intended to make beer even fresher.
Kronenbourg
From color white and covered with a dense foam, Kronenbourg results from a subtle balance malt hop, quince and apple, citrus fruits flavors. Its fine bitterness comes in particular from light notes of liquorice and pepper. It is a fluid and marrowy beer equipped with a fine pétillance.
Pure Kronenbourg Malt
Without alcohol, and rich in savor, this beer results from rigorously selected malts and a sluggish fermentation.
Fine Extra Kronenbourg
Last innovation in date, Kronenbourg Extra Fine is the first beer reduced in calories launched to France. Fine and not very bitter, it contains 30% of calories in less than one Kronenbourg " classique". Moreover, it is not very alcoholic. (2.1%).
Mixed Kronenbourg
In Mixed Kronenbourg, one finds all the taste of Kronenbourg associated with lemonade.
Design
In 2007, Kronenbourg is avoided of a new visual identity. The setting in scene of the lions, icons of the mark, claim to translate the values headlights of the mark, in particular that of user-friendliness.
Folklore
Being one of the most popular beers in France, Kronenbourg, or Kro caused some elements of folklore:- the adjudant Kronenbourg character of the draftsman Cabu, prototype of the alcoholic soldier,
