Krommenie

Krommenie is a Holland-Septentrional provincial town of to the Netherlands. It belongs to the common of Zaanstad. It is located at approximately 15 km in the North-East of Haarlem.

The statistical district (city and surrounding countryside) account 17  330 inhabitants (2005).

Krommenie is the birthplace of:

• Nicolaas Matsier (° 1945) writer,
• Aafje Heynis (° 1924), Contralto.
