Krist Novoselic

Krist Novoselic (born the May 16th 1965 with Compton in California) is a American Musicien , bass player of the group Nirvana.

Youth

His/her parents, Krist and Maria, are Croatian immigrants : they had arrived at the the United States respectively in 1963 and 1964. “Novoselic” means “new Croatian colonist” in and decides " No-vo--litch" , and not " No-vo--lik".

It has a brother and a sister.

In 1979, the family moves with Aberdeen in the State of Washington, where Krist will meet Kurt Cobain.

Music

With Nirvana

The exact date of the meeting is prone to controversy: one speaks about 1983 or 1984. Kurt and Krist found together the group Grunge Nirvana, which will know an immense world popularity at the beginning of the Années 1990.

Krist held the role of bass player to with it: it is characterized there by a its original, round and large, returned Net by a permanent play with the médiator. This its innovator was associated with the Grunge, and became one of the sound signatures about it.
