Kris Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson is an actor and American singer, born the June 22nd 1936 with Brownsville, with the Texas (the United States).

Biography

He is the son of a general of the U.S. Air Force, which, become airline pilot, will make travel his family through the the United States, before fixing himself in California.

The studies of Kris are done in Pomona College where it particularly practices the sport and the writing. He continues his studies with Oxford (England) where he starts to compose of the songs and with the interprêter. He is then engaged under the name of Kris Carson.

Kris Kristofferson will be useful then as pilot in U.S. Air Force, in Germany. In same time, it continues its musical activity with a group in various clubs.

In 1965, he refuses a post of teacher with West Point and leaves food to Nashville (Tennessee), the capital of the Country Music. He practices multiple employment there before sympathizing with Johnny Cash and Janis Joplin.

In 1970, it records a first album: Me and Bobby Mc Gee, all rewarded at once.

In 1971, Dennis Hopper engages Kris for its film: The Last Movie. It is the beginning of its career with the cinema where he plays in films such as: Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973), Bring to me the head of Alfredo Garcia (1974), the Door of the paradise (1980).

As from 1979, Kris Kristofferson appears in telefilms: The road of freedom, the ensanglantée flower, last days of Frank and Jesse James, the diligence of Tombstone.

One finds Kris Kristofferson in top of the poster in 1996 in Lone star of John Sayles. Soldier in the Girl of a soldier never cries, the actor takes part in the action of Blade in 1998, with that of Payback one year later, then share to join the Planet of the monkeys version Tim Burton in 2001. In 2002, Kris Kristofferson finds the vampires in Blade II of Guillermo Del Toro, before giving the counterpart for the third time to Wesley Snipes for the needs for Blade: Trinity.

In 2004, it is introduced with the Country Music Hall off Famed.
