Kreator

Kreator is a group of Thrash Metal allemand.
Il is regarded as one of the pioneers of the Thrash Metal German with groups such as Sodom or Destruction. Among those it is Kreator which probably had the most influence.

Biography

Launched with the beginning of the year 80 pennies the name Tormentor , Kreator is immediately pointed out from its violence musicale.
Directed by the furious Thousand Petrozza , the group will know its first period of glory during years 85-90 with its first album: Endless Bread. This album will be seen allotting four successors, all compounds of true anthems of the Thrash Metal at the same time violent and mélodique.
With beginning of the year 90, Kreator will have to be inclined vis-a-vis the vagueness of groups of Death Metal, kid direct of the Thrash Metal, which will fall down on the Metallique world. On the following albums, the group then will be tested with some experiments flirtant with the Gothic style and industrialist, but without much success commercial.
It will be necessary to await 2001 to see the group making its come-back on the front of the scene Thrash Metal with the album Violent Revolution. Moreover, the first track of the album is very explicit: Reconquering the Throne (literally: To reconquer the throne). Following the success of this album, the group will leave a DVD Live recalling the round the album Violent Revolution in the monde.
In 2005, the exit of the album Enemy Of God definitively returned in Kreator its statute of leader of the Thrash Metal.

Of influence Kafkaienne, Thousand Petrozza implies in its music an incommensurable sorrow and texts curling the destruction; the fronts and solo of an extreme power pointing out the limit of the existence strew the majority with the titles. As a large Master of the kind, the antifachist Kreator is one of the great groups which survived the commercial part of the show business and continuous to transmit his messages on the potential continuation of the humanity which, at this rate/rhythm, does not leave anything beautiful predicting itself…
