Kraven the hunter

Kraven the hunter is a character of fiction belonging to the universe of Marvel Comics, an Super-unpleasant enemy of Spider-man. It was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, it appears for the first time in The Amazing Spider-Man #15 (August 1964)

Fictitious history of the character

Russian wire of parents, Serguei Kravinov, lost his/her mother being young. His/her father remaria with a maidservant and had a child " Dmitri". Serguei showed his/her father to betray the love of his/her mother and flees of at his place. It crossed Europe, Asia and Africa. Not living that hunting and grasses, it became a hunter considered to have killed an adult gorilla with naked hands.

One day, it met a African wizard who gave him the secrecy of a potion which would multiply by ten its forces and its speed. Kraven listened to the councils of the wizard and discovered with astonishment his capacities: It could raise a weight of two tons, it was almost as fast as Spider-Man and its directions was sharpened like those of Daredevil (especially sense of smell).

Thanks to its experiment of the hunting and its knowledge of the plants, Sergei became Kraven the perfect hunter. One day, one of his closest friends, the Chameleon, contacted it because it needed him to overcome certain Spider-Man. Kraven was covered skin of the most dangerous animals of the savanna which it had killed with naked hands and it left for New York.

Contrary to the other enemies of the man spider, Kraven fights only for the honor which it lost at the same time as the combat against Spider-man.

Whereas Spider-man still carries the black suit, Kraven successful to reach it with its rifle and buries it in its property. It takes then personality of Spider-man and attacks with man-rat of sewers - vermin (one of the characters that Spidey had the most evil to beat) and beats it easily. This moment, fall it from Spider-man opens and our héro leaves unscathed. During a discussion with Kraven, this one explains to him, delighted, that it has to recover its honor by beating it, by taking its place and by exceeding it in combat. After having sent Spidey to beat Vermin, Kraven took its shotgun and drew a ball in the head. It is buried in its property, beside the temporary tomb of its enemy: Spider-man
