Krai de Krasnoïarsk

The Krai de Krasnoïarsk (in Russian: Красноя́рскийкрай) is a federal subject Russian (Krai). Second larger area of Russia in term of surface (after the Republic of Sakha), occupying a surface of 2.339.700 km ², is 13% of the total surface area of the country. The administrative center is Krasnoïarsk.

Will krai is located at the right in the middle of the Siberia, stretching itself on 3.000 kilometers of north in the south. It divides its borders with the Oblast S of Tioumen, of Tomsk, Irkoutsk and Kemerovo, with the republics of Khakassie, Touva and Sakha, just as with the Arctic Ocean in north. It contained the okrougs Évenkie and of Taïmyrie, which officially amalgamated with will krai on January 1st 2007, according to the results of a Référendum held the April 17th 2005.
