Koulamoutou
Koulamoutou is a city of the Gabon, the chief town of the province of the Ogooué-Milk. Hardly cash 15.000 inhabitants, it is one of the smallest regional capital of the country. That is explained by its insulation in a territory with the variation of the great transportation routes and principal economic activities.
L' introduction of the culture of the coffee and the Cocoa as well as the exploitation of wood to a still modest scale does not allow the rise of this small town which seems to have to carry out still a long time a dormant existence.
La city is served by air located at approximately 15 kilometers (Code AITA: KOU).
The city is crossed by the river Bouenguidi which separates the city in two banks, the left bank where are located the majority of the buildings public, the administrations, the complex of Koto leisures and the Right Bank which is the center of population where all the ethnos groups live which compose the local population (Nzebis, Povis, Akélés, Massangos), the Right Bank that much Koulois finds very animated. The Manbenda crossroads, the Notre-Dame college of Salette and the popular quarters are as many places to visit.
Koula-Moutou that the inhabitants have as a practice to call Klm or Kabul has a mountainous relief, a very rainy equatorial climate in season of rain and very heat in season cig. Except the Bouenguidi river, the city is crossed by the river Lolo, an affluent of the river Ogooué from where the name of the province indicated administratively by G7 like seventh province.
Many infrastructures were built there with the passing of years such as: the elementary schools, the colleges (Notre-Dame of Salette, Motou Mambou), the college of state, the regional hospital, the provincial prison, the barracks of the Army, the roads were renovated in 2005 at the time of the festival of August 17th, the hotels and motels 4 accommodate each week the visitors who come to remain in Klm.
The town of Koulamoutou is an almost tourist framework which one finds several prestigious Motels of which: motel BICHI (not lion of the training center), Motel BIKI (in the center town), MOTEL KONADEMBE (Gendarmerie).
