Kouchan
The Kouchan , Kouchanes , Kouchans , Kushan or Kusana , are Indo-European people , fraction of the Yuezhi, which created a empire centered around the Pakistan, of the Afghanistan and the India of north. This one thrived between the 1st century and the 3rd century of the Christian era.
The name of Kouchan derives from the Chinese Guishuang (貴霜) which described one of the five tribes of the Yuezhi (月氏), a little structured confederation people Indo-Europeans, which possibly spoke about the versions of the language tokharienne.
The most known sovereign kouchan is Kanishka I {{er}}, which reigned of 127 with 147 approximately and supported the expansion of the Bouddhisme and, consequently, of the gréco-Buddhist Art. The Talibans destroyed in 2000 its statue, a single part of the museum of Kabul.
