Koubrat
Koubrat (Кубрат; gr. Χουβρατις) ((605 - 665), Khan of the Bulgarian (632 - 651).
It has demolishes the Avars and created in 632 the Vieille Large Bulgaria (known in the Byzantine chronicles like Η παλαιά μεγάλη Βουλγαρία). Byzance recognized by treaty the new State in 635. The territory of the Old woman Large Bulgaria was limited by the the Caucasus to south-east, the river the Volga in the North-East, and the Carpates in the west. The successor of Koubrat, Asparoukh, has demolishes Byzance and incorporated in his kingdom the territories of Mésie located at the south between the the Danube and the Balkans. Another son of Koubrat, Kouber, left towards the west and, later, its Bulgarian lived the Macedonia. The oriental party of the Old woman Large Bulgaria fell under the domination from the Khazars in 668.
The tomb and the treasure of Koubrat were discovered in 1912 in the village of Malo Pérechtchépino close to Poltava, Ukraine.
